National Council of Yoga & Naturopathy (NCYN) is an autonomous body under the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India. Established to promote and develop research in the fields of yoga and naturopathy, NCYN focuses on scientific research, education, and the propagation of these traditional health systems. Develop and implement research strategies on scientific lines in yoga and naturopathy. Initiate educational programs, training sessions, and other initiatives to promote yoga and naturopathy. Assist organizations involved in research, propagation, and experimental studies related to disease prevention, causation, and remedies, with a special emphasis on rural populations. Lead and coordinate both fundamental and applied scientific research in yoga and naturopathy.
